Workout Anywhere!




I try and keep something around the house that I can pick up quickly and get in a crossfit workout. The Barbell. What a great tool to use for a total body workout. Lets see, the back squat, front squat, overhead squat, shoulder press, push press, push jerk, thruster, dead lift, sumo deadlift high pull, and the list goes on.

I can pretty much put anything together with a barbell and you can plan to get your but kicked. As I did to myself in the photo. In between breast feeding and holding Stone and making sure I did not hit Savannah's head as I did my squats, we had a pretty good workout. Two years ago Kris put a pull up bar in our backyard so that always makes for a great addition to a workout.


I plan to be kicking some but here soon... home workout #2.

Let me know if you need some home programs to push you along. The best part about'em is they are short and sweet and you don't have to travel anywhere to get'em done!

Congratulations Carey! What a handsome boy! I can just see him doing a 5' oly bar DL at 5 years of age with perfect form. Maybe, just maybe kipping 2 years later! You look great already. CC's energy is really high. You and Jeremy are inspirational.

BTW, my CF buddy (Beth Spearman) will be visiting Austin and I rave about you guys all the time! She has signed up for some group classes. Not to worry...her RX'D Fran time is 4:59 and cleans 125# easy. Julie already gave her clearance. Keep the energy high..we feel it here in H-town!
